Tom is an experienced executive and team coach with over two decades leading change and business growth in the technology field. Tom is passionate about helping senior executives and leadership teams navigate the tricky waters of change with efficacy and results.
Tom’s 28 years at Hewlett Packard includes functional and P&L management, country, region and global perspectives, division, business group and corporate wide roles, multiple business models and numerous operations and go-to-market methods.
Tom’s pragmatic coaching is grounded in his extensive experience and continual learning in contemporary, evidence-based methods in leadership, change management, executive and team coaching and scaling businesses. His coaching integrates multiple disciplines, building on neuroscience, positive psychology, emotional intelligence, adult development theory, and group, team, and organization dynamics.
He assists leaders and teams to make sense of their context, articulate desired outcomes, grow new capacity and achieve significant results. He leverages his training and practice of Aikido to help leaders build presence, courage, and resilience to act effectively and compassionately in challenging circumstances. Tom believes that building trust creates a strong foundation that allows teams to align quickly even in the most difficult situations.
Tom customizes his coaching engagements based on the client’s particular needs. Engagements can be in-person, virtual, or a mixture of both. His clients include Fortune 500 companies and technology companies scaling up.
