Join us for our exciting April Event - Expanding Your Toolkit of Coaching Frameworks and Tools

Our April event will be highly interactive as three of our own members facilitate "micro learning sessions" about several coaching frameworks and tools to add your repertoire.

Here's our panel of speakers and their topics:

Linda Secretan is president of PCA-Idaho and is a coach who is interested in change – how it begins, where it ends and how to support people as they navigate through its emergence wherever they find themselves in life’s interesting journey. As an ICF certified Life Vision and Enhancement coach and Board certified Health and Wellness coach her work draws from a deep well of research partnering with clients in kind curiosity and good humor to sustain the changes they desire.

Linda's topic: WOOP is a tool we can use to make an end run around motivation and fill the whooshing gap exposed when positive thinking and the law of attraction fail. Based on research into mental contrasting, the four step process helps us clearly identify an outcome, the inner obstacles that stand in the way, and the plan to overcome them. WOOP is an acronym created by scholar Dr. Gabrielle Oettingen as a nuanced reading of the psychology of motivation and change.

Vicki Lundin-Taylor, Ph.D. Dr. Vicki Lundin-Taylor serves on the Board of PCA-Idaho and coaches adults toward the development of their professional and personal intentions, and in organizations she works strategically with leaders adapting to complex challenges. In addition to her Transformative coach/consult practice, she is Executive Core Faculty with Sofia University in which she creates and develops the coaching program’s curriculum, teaches and mentors students mastering coaching competencies as affiliated with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Vicki's topic: The Integrally based Stages model that charts evolving perspectives--how our capacities transform and evolve from one stage of adult development to the next, and its implications for transformative coaching.

Marshall Townsend II is a Professional Leadership Coach, Mentor, Speaker, and an Independent Executive Director with the John Maxwell Team. He is the owner of MT2Leadership and over the course of two decades, he has gained extensive coaching experience helping hundreds of people thrive along the way.

Marshall's topic: The 4 pillars of coaching – There is not another relationship that comes anywhere near to that of coaching. The coaching relationship is a designed alliance in which both the coach and the participant are active collaborators and equal in the single pursuit of meeting the client’s intended outcomes. The four pillars of coaching are the foundation of your coaching process.
